Start with the part reference
Record the OE number exactly as it appears on the original component, label or available parts record. Keep letters, digits and separators intact. If several references are available, list them separately and explain where each came from. A clear part name helps the sourcing team understand the request before checking the reference.
- Part name and installation position
- OE number or existing part reference
- Photograph of the original label
Add vehicle information
Provide the vehicle brand, model, production year and engine information. Add the VIN where available. A model name alone does not distinguish every production configuration. Keep the vehicle information on the same line or attachment as its corresponding part reference.

- Brand, model and production year
- Engine information and VIN
- Left or right side, front or rear position
Photograph the useful details
Take one clear photograph of the complete component, followed by close views of labels, mounting points and electrical or mechanical connections. Photograph multiple angles in good lighting. Name the files with the same line number used in the inquiry so images remain attached to the correct item.
- Complete component from multiple angles
- Readable markings and connection details
- File names linked to the inquiry line
Prepare a clear inquiry
Add the requested quantity per line, destination and packing requirements. Mark information that you still need to obtain instead of supplying a guessed reference. Keep the original reference photos available during follow-up. Final fitment is confirmed using the submitted vehicle and part information.

- Quantity and destination
- Packing or labelling requirements
- A single consolidated parts list
